Role explaining-Artist


My role is Artist and part of Game Designer.

I work mostly on art design stuff for this project, like models, UI, and music. My kanban board time is around 21.5hrs. Actually some items took more than I thought, like model import, I have to import model and texture separately, then assign them in UE. Also some models are bound together so I have to use modeling tool to separate them. The whole level editing also took longer than I thought, maybe because I didn't have a clear thought about what we wanted to do in the first place, so next time I need to learn this lesson and do better.

  • Things that held me back from completing my vision for the project :
    • First is to find the perfect model I want to use, some of them are not free so I even had a thought to model and texture them myself, however this project is time sensitive so maybe in future when I do a project like this I can do it.  Also the texture import and assigning is kind of different from what I have learned. I have to go back and look through my GameDesign I class notes and watch some youtube videos to learn new things. Good thing is I learned new stuff~
